ACEG Ranked among 2010 Top 500 Enterprises of China

2010 Top 500 Enterprises of China Release Conference & China Corporations Summit opened in Anhui International Exhibition Centre on the afternoon of September 4th. Mr. Wang Zhongyu, former Vice Chairman of CPPCC National Committee and President of China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneurs Association made a keynote speech. Mr. Wang Sanyun, Governor of Anhui province and Mr. Huang Shuhe, Deputy Director of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council addressed for the conference. Mr. Li Decheng, Vice President of China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneurs Association presided over the conference. Also present at the conference were Mr. Sun Jinlong, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and Secretary of CPC Hefei Municipal Committee, Mr. Huang Haisong, Vice Governor of Anhui province, Mr. Wang Heling, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee, Mr. Jiang Qiangui, Mr. Wang Jiming, Mr. Yin Yuanping, Executive Vice Presidents of China Enterprise Confederation, Mr. Liang Weiguo, Secretary-General of Anhui Provincial Government. Representatives of Top 500 Chinese enterprises, multinational corporations, scholars and government departments were also present at the conference.
 
The list of 2010 Top 500 Enterprises of China was unveiled at the conference. ACEG ranked 434th in the list, up by 21 compared with the year of 2009.
 
The year of 2009 witnessed that ACEG’s overseas business and real estate development bore the brunt of global financial crisis. In face of crisis, ACEG upgraded industry structure and integrated resources, expanding business in fields such as road and bridge, city infrastructure, tunnel, port and sea-lane while consolidating overseas markets. Through concerted efforts, ACEG had outstanding achievements in the year of 2009, with total output value rising by 21%, carry-over project rising by 33%, total profit rising by 36%, total assets rising by 21%, total bank credit rising by 50%. ACEG was ranked by bank as one of eight A-class enterprises. Staff income increased by 13% and 430 new staff joined ACEG. ACEG ranked 168th among ENR Top 225 International Contractor and 14th among Top 100 Enterprises of Anhui province. In addition, ACEG has been awarded with many titles of honors including “National Advanced Company in Architectural Construction Industry”, “National Excellent Construction Company” “National May 1 Labor Award”, “National AAA Class Creditable Enterprise in Architectural Construction Industry”, “AAA Class Creditable Enterprise as International Contractor”, “Silver Award for Social Responsibility as International Contractor”.
