Mr. Chen Xiuxiang made a market investigation trip to Nigeria

Mr. Chen Xiuxiang, General Manager of ACEG Overseas Company, carried out an eight-day market research and project inspection trip in Nigeria from May 6 up to 14, he has visited Chinese Consulate General in Lagos, Chinese Cultural Exchange Center in Nigeria and local business partners as well, and he also visited projects under construction of the Company in Lagos and Abuja and made in-depth research of the Nigerian construction market and held talks over the development of project cooperation with partners.
 
Local time on May 8, Mr. Chen convened a discussion meeting with the management staff of ACEG Nigerian Branch in Lagos, the nomination of Mr. He Changqing as the standing deputy general manager of the Branch was read out and the report on the current market in Lagos and the operating conditions of the Branch and the market management report were listened. Mr. Chen also conveyed the spirit of the Sixth Staff Conference and the key work deployments of ACEG in 2019, emphatically analyzed the important work arrangements of the Staff Conference of ACEG Overseas Company in 2019, and the requirements of ACEG on preventing and defusing major risks.
 
As for what to do to make a better and stronger ACEG Nigerian Branch, Mr. Chen has put forward four specific requirements:
 
Firstly, continue to increase the market operation and expand the scale of production and operation. Through ideas of innovation of market management, broaden the market management channels; strive to achieve a large span of business scale in Nigeria;
Secondly, it is necessary to integrate and make full use of local high-quality resources, effectively maintain various relations in Nigeria and provide greater convenience for market operation and development.
Thirdly, the Branch should further pay attention to its internal control management, focus on strengthening project planning, cost control and safety management and other basic management works and further improve the profitability of the project.
Fourthly, continue to explore the local settlement and payment of managers'' salaries to solve the problem of capital repatriation.
