Online Seminar on Infrastructure Capacity Building for Countries along B&R 2021 kicked-off

On the afternoon of May 26, 2021, the opening ceremony online of the annual Seminar on Infrastructure Capacity Building for Countries along B&R, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, directed by Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce, organized by Anhui Institute of International Business and co-organized by Anhui Construction Engineering Group, was held in Hefei, the capital city of Eastern China’s Anhui province. Xing Yingmei, Vice General Manager of ACEG, attended the online opening ceremony at the branch venue in Anjian Mansion International – ACEG’s headquarters office building. 
 
 
Some 85 participants from 15 countries including Brazil, Botswana, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Kenya, Mongolia, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Venezuela, etc., took part in the seminar and in particular,24 Pakistani friends, introduced by ACEG Pakistani Branch, have signed up for this seminar, they are working in the fields of engineering and construction, investment, financing and banking and for government units as well in Pakistan.
 
At the opening ceremony, Hu Haitao, Director of ACEG Beijing Office, General Party Secretary of ACEG Pakistan Branch, has given a welcome speech to the Seminar on behalf of ACEG. He has briefed ACEG’s development history over the past 70 years since its establishment and the achievements it made in recent years and the overseas business development.
 
Zhang Qing, Dean of the Faculty of Anhui Institute of International Business, stressed at the ceremony that infrastructure construction imposes crucial conditions on realizing national or regional economic benefits, social benefits and environmental benefits, he hopes that the seminar acts as an envoy of friendship of people-to-people exchanges between China and B&R countries and makes contributions to the high-quality co-construction of the One Belt and One Road infrastructures of policies communications, facilities connectivity, unimpeded trade and financial integration.
 
Ha Yu, Director of Project Management Division No. 1 of the Training Center of Ministry of Commerce, has expressed his heartfelt thanks to ACEG for their strong support for this seminar.
 
Han Ning, Deputy Director of Project Management Division No. 1 of the Training Center of Ministry of Commerce, Ling Shuangying, Director of International Exchange Center of Anhui Institute of International Business and all seminar trainees from 15 countries attended the online opening ceremony.
 
The Seminar is scheduled to close on June 8.
